CHIMBOTE

The Operation Center of Chimbote is the largest national shipyard for small and large vessels and one of the main centers for metal-working production in the country. The shipyard, with a 164,000 m2 area, has a syncrolift, multiple berths and well-equipped workshops where vessels up to 940 tons are built and repaired, such as fishing boats, tugboats, personnel carrier motorboats, among others.

Its metal-working production center has its own infrastructure in a 70,000 m2 area, and a large production hall of 10,000 m2. Moreover, we have warehouses and auxiliary workshops, with a 3,000 ton- capacity of processed steel per year; here highway bridges, gates and pressure pipes are manufactured, besides other large structures.
